Doggie Dilemmas
Text Box: Avril has looked after our 11 year old German Shepherd/Doberman cross Carlton for 3.5 years, joined recently by Alfie a 6 year old labrador this year. Both dogs are rescue dogs, and we were keen to find a dog walker who would have a great rapport with them and look after them as if they were her own. In this Avril very definitely fits the bill, walking for us 5 days a week turning up on time come snow, rain or shine. An additional bonus has been the way she has helped to socialise Carlton, who started with us being very wary and vocal towards other dogs (we had no previous history on him) to now being able to be walked happily with whoever is in the pack that day. Avril has also helped us out at short notice, boarded Carlton and hauled our very clumsy Alfie out of the canal on a regular basis. We have already recommended Avril to three of our neighbours who have successfully used her for boarding and walking purposes. In summary Avril provides a very reliable, trustworthy service and I am sure your dogs will love spending time with her as much as ours do!

Testimonies

Text Box: “Our Westie puppy ‘Sydney’ was a long awaited addition to the family and we knew we had a huge responsibility to his welfare and stimulation. So a  chance meeting with the wonderful ‘Scooby’ at the Country Park who was out walking his family, was to prove fortuitous. They recommended a young lady called  Avril who ran a dog walking/sitting service in the community called Doggie Dilemmas, it was  such a glowing reference we had to call Avril and she visited us at home and agreed to doggie sit Sydney on an ad hoc basis when we needed to be out all day.
We soon realised how popular Avril was and quickly decided to make the arrangement more permanent and Sydney was booked in 3 days a week.
Sydney knows when its ‘Avril Day’ and waits at the window with anticipation for her arrival at 9am, the doorbell rings and he’s out of the door like a rocket and into his own little crate  in the back of the specially designed van and joins his fellow boarders all looking forward to a day of fun. It is so obvious that he has an absolute ball, a bit like a going to a Doggie Theme Park!!
5pm and the day is over, Avril drops a very happy Sydney off and it’s down to some serious napping, it’s been a busy day!!
Sydney will be 2 years old in July and for most of his life he has known Avril who has definitely become part of the ‘pack’ and we don’t know what we would do without her dedication and professionalism. Avril often gives us advice and guidance as well as being there for us on special occasions when we need a trusted friend to look after Sydney.
Our advice…… is if you get a place keep it!!! Doggie Dilemmas is a rare find”.
